Parker: P1-10” PowerStation (P15 Series)
The new addition to the P1
PowerStation line features a 10” Pentium 166 processor package. Like the other
P1 products, this new economical 10” unit is availble in color and mono display
options with PC/104 expansion. The P1-10” comes bundled with Interact Core
Modules (panel tools, graphics, alarming, and networking), and can also come
bundled with any of the interact optional modules, as well as MachineLogic,
CTC’s PC-Based Control software.
Overview of Changes from P2 to P1-10”
PowerStations
Mounting Notes:
• Units will be clip mounted.
• Thickness of enclosure cannot
exceed ¼“. This is thinner than the P2 PowerStation.
Power:
• P1-10” is DC powered.
• The new AC “brick” Power Supply
released with the PS Series and the legacy Power Supply can be used with the
P1-10”.
• New Power Supply can also be used
for legacy product.
Depth:
• P1-10” units are 0.3” deeper than
previous P2 units.
Other:
• Logo for P1-10” units is the same
logo found on PS PowerStation and Monitor products.
• P1-10” requires MachineShop release
1.04 and FlashBack Utility release 1.03 or later.
Differences between P1-10” and PS PowerStations
Processor:
• P1-10” – Pentium 166MHz MMX
• PS – Pentium 266MHz MMX
Mass Storage:
• P1-10” and PS have a standard 16MB
Compact Flash in an external Compact Flash slot. The Compact Flash may be
upgraded to a maximum of 128MB.
• PS includes an option for an
internal hard drive, or an internal Compact Flash. The P1-10” does not provide
these options.
