Metronix Servo Drive: Servo Positioning Controller ARS 2105 FS
The ARS 2000 servo drive with the EtherCAT technology module supports the CoE protocol (CANopen over EtherCAT) with the aid of FPGA ESC20. The CANopen communication objects are tunneled via the EtherCAT telegram. This means that the individual objects that are addressed via the CoE protocol in the ARS 2000 servo drive are transferred internally to the existing CANopen implementation where they are processed.
The ARS 2000 servo drive with the EtherCAT technology module supports the CoE protocol (CANopen over EtherCAT) with the aid of FPGA ESC20.

ARS 2000 FS: Servo drive for control cabinets - designed for functional safety:
The ARS 2000 FS is a further development of the proven, universal servo drive ARS 2000. It is characterized, particularly, by the following improved features:
Increased pulse current to up to 4 times
Support for optional integrated safety technology according to EN 61800-5-2
Connectivity to Ethernet-based field-bus systems
Significantly reduced cycle times
Additional enhancements include:
Configuration management and control via USB or Ethernet interface integrated
Controller configuration via SD card, eliminating the need for a programming tool
Fieldbus addressing without parameterisation
Commissioning of series applications are easily, quickly and efficiently executed.
All ARS 2000 FS typically feature a built-in EMC filter, integrated brake chopper and brake resistor.
The servo controller ARS 2000 FS product family therefore meet, without external accessories, the current CE and EN standards and are immediately operational.
ARS 2100 FS - designed for functional safety
The ARS 2100 FS series servo drives are designated for operation on a single-phase supply. The high-performance controllers range from 500VA to 1.5 kVA rated output power, with a peak current output of up to 4 times available. On a single-phase supply, a peak output current of 32 A rms can be achieved.
The servo drives ARS 2102 FS and 2105 FS feature built-in, active regulating, power factor control (PFC) to meet the requirements of the regulation EN 61000-3-2 (harmonic current limitation of the network) without additional measures. With an increased intermediate DC voltage to 380 V DC, up to 30 % higher motor speeds can be achieved.
Technical Features:
380 V DC link voltage by active PFC (*)
