(Incremental Fixed Count Encoders)
Description:
Incremental encoders are used when retention of absolute position upon power loss is not required. Some programmable encoder variants from SICK allow from 1 ... 65,536 lines, zero-pulse width and level of output signals programmable by customer. Fixed count encoders from SICK contain a fixed number of lines that produce a corresponding number of pulses per revolution (PPR).
Features:
Connection with universal cable outlet
Face mount flange with 3 mounting hole patterns and servo groove
Hollow shaft with universal stator coupling
Compact diameter of 37 mm
Electrical interfaces: TTL/RS-422, HTL/push pull and Open
Collector NPN
Available PPR: 100 to 2,500
Temperature range: –20 °
