Heidenhain: Interface Electronics (EIB 1500)
Interface electronics from HEIDENHAIN adapt the encoder signals to the interface of the subsequent electronics. They are used when the subsequent electronics cannot directly process the output signals from HEIDENHAIN encoders, or if additional interpolation of the signals is necessary.
HEIDENHAIN interface electronics are available in various mechanical designs.
Features:
Interpolation and digitizing electronics for digital calculation of the positions of two scanning heads
Integrated 16 384-fold subdivision
Input: Incremental rotational HEIDENHAIN encoder with two scanning heads and distance-coded reference marks (positions of scanning heads to each other: 180° ± 5°)
Output: Purely serial position values as per EnDat 2.2, Fanuc Serial Interface or Mitsubishi high speed interface
Model No.: EIB 1512, EIB 1592 F, EIB 1592 M
