EM-2722MA is a two-phase stepper motor driver based on DSP control. It is a new-generation all-digital stepper motor driver composed of advanced DSP control chip and unique control circuit. The driver provides customers with 4-segment 7-bit LEDs and 4 buttons. Customers can set the parameters by pressing the buttons according to the actual application. The set parameters will be automatically memorized, stored and displayed on the LED digital tube of the machine in real time. The driving voltage is AC90V-250V, suitable for various types of two-phase hybrid stepping motors with current under 7.0A and outer diameter 86-130mm. The drive uses a circuit similar to the principle of servo control. This circuit can make the motor run smoothly without almost vibration and noise. The positioning accuracy is up to 60,000 steps/rev. The product is widely used in engraving machines, medium-sized CNC machine tools, computer embroidery machines, packaging machinery and other large and medium-sized CNC equipment with high resolution.
Functions
- The input signal voltage is 5V-24V compatible, the highest response frequency is 250Kpps.
- With any electronic subdivision (electronic gear), the highest resolution is 60,000/rev.
- Drive current (effective value) 1.2A/phase to 7.0A/phase can be adjusted arbitrarily.
- The lock current is adjustable, and the adjustment range is 5%-100% of the drive current.
- Single power input, voltage range: single-phase AC90V~AC250V, 50/60Hz.
- Comes with 4 sections of 7-bit LED digital tube and 4 buttons, which can set parameters such as lock current, drive current, subdivision number and so on.
Features
The driver does not input the pulse signal, and is directly operated by the keys to control the motor to verify whether the driver or the motor is normal
Subdivision switching
High and low subdivisions can be switched freely (see parameters BS02, BS03)
Command pulse selection (single and double pulse)
Two pulse input methods can be selected
Edge trigger selection (rising, falling edge)
Two effective input methods of rising edge and falling edge can be selected (default falling edge is valid)
Phase memory function
After the pulse stops for 3 seconds, the motor phase is automatically memorized. When the power is turned on again or the MF signal changes from low level to high level, the driver automatically restores the motor phase.
Multiple hardware protection functions
With overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, short circuit between phases and other protection. Hardware protection, software alarm, LED display, intuitive and convenient.
Operating mode
There are two options for accepting external pulse mode and external I/O input control mode
