Adept: SCARA Robot (ePLC800 Inverted Series)
The Adept Cobra™ ePLC800 Inverted SCARA robot is a compact, high performance, 4-axis SCARA robot designed to be programmed using Siemens or Allen-Bradley programming languages through an onboard Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The overhead-mounting configuration enables efficient use of space in applications such as mechanical assembly, material handling, packaging and screw driving, particularly in conjunction with conveyor belts. Featuring an integrated controller and amplifiers, the Adept Cobra ePLC platform offers a compact robot footprint, and is the industry’s only line of self-contained, standalone SCARA robots.

Space Saving Embedded Amplifiers The Adept Cobra ePLC800 Inverted robot has no external electronics. The amplifier and motion controller are built into the robot's arm, which reduces the size and number of cables. The robot attaches via a single ethernet cable to the PLC.
