Compact | Precision Encoders for the World’s Machines and Instruments

MTE Series units, optimized for use with tape scales, are energy efficient linear encoders that install quickly without any alignment tools. The miniature sensor can be top mounted or side mounted. Compact tape scales install quickly and are available with factory-encoded optical index.

Resolutions from 5µm to 1µm, A-quad-B digital interface with index, linearity of +/-10 µm/m; Basic unit is top mount, with side mount and FlexFit brackets available.
