PC-Based Motion Control Solution
Delta's PC-Based Motion Control Solution is a cost effective platform with high reliability, integrated network communication capability, and high-end motion control functions for advanced automation applications. This solution is composed of Delta's programmable automation controllers (PAC), motion control cards and various remote modules to enable better synchronization with either DMCNET or EtherCAT communication. It offers high response and high precision control for more flexible operation and automation machinery applications, and is ideal for high-performance multi-axis and synchronous motion control. With either a DMCNET or an EtherCAT networking interface, using Delta's PC-Based Motion Control Solution rapidly connects to various peripheral devices, such as servo motors, remote digital I/O and analog modules, stepping motors, and linear motors. It also features simple wiring, quick installation, fast communication and superior performance, while requiring less integration effort. Supporting fieldbus verification and validation software, the PC-Based Motion Control Solution makes all the relevant parameters of the fieldbus communication segment and hardware system easily configurable. No need for third-party software and set-up costs. EtherCAT Motion Control
EtherCAT Motion Control Products (Ethernet Control Automation Technology) is an open high performance Ethernet-based fieldbus system that provides high efficiency and good synchronization quality for automation control. With EtherCAT, Delta's EtherCAT motion control solution can achieve rapid and real-time multiple axes of motion control, and is capable of controlling up to 100 slave stations that enable a 64-axis motion control within 1ms cycle time. It also supports 35 homing modes, point-to-point position control, speed control and torque control. 2 groups of linear interpolation, 3 groups of arc, 2D and helical interpolation can be implemented synchronously. The IEC61131 SoftPLC under Windows is also provided as one of the optional functions for programming flexibility and ease of scalability. Delta's EtherCAT motion control solution is optimized for the demanding applications of multiple axes, high speed and high precision for fast, high-performance machine control systems.

For EtherCAT ultra rapid and high performance communication, Delta provides a rugged and compact gateway type E-bus power coupler and 16 channels digital I/O remote modules for high precision and demanding industrial applications.
EtherCAT 1-Channel Pulse Remote Module
The R1-EC5621D0 1-channel pulse remote module acquires and controls pulse signals for the EtherCAT master and must be attached to an R1-EC5500 E-bus remote power coupler on the EtherCAT network for remote control.
