Gamma Series
This product page covers SMB9G16-01 and SMC9G16-01 models (the X in SMX9G16-01 is a variable placeholder). SMB models use bus power logic. SMC models require an external 24 VDC logic power supply.
The SMX9G16-01 Gamma Series Digital PWM Servo Drive in the Module package configuration operates from 24-70 VDC and can output up to 5 A of continuous current. All SMX9G16 Gamma Series drives are UL Recognized Components for the USA and Canada, and can control brushless (standard servo and high-speed spindle), brush type, rotary, linear, voice coil, and AC induction motors. They also offer expanded command and control modes, including CANopen and indexing/point-to-point. Feedback is accepted from a wider range of devices and protocols, namely absolute serial encoders (BiSS, EnDat, and SSI) and analog Sin/Cos encoders.
